Job Description
Cianbro is looking for an experienced Properties Superintendent who is able to manage multiple properties and facilities projects. Cianbro properties are varied and include, but are not limited to, corporate office buildings, equipment yards, waterfront work yards, fabrication facilities, solar arrays, remote sites, urban and rural rental properties, and others. The candidate must possess outstanding project management skills with the ability to budget, manage and complete facilities-related projects on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities
  • Undertakes independent review and markup of contract documents provided as part of requests for proposals.
  • Responsible for the facilities and properties spread across the United States with sites in New England, Florida, Maryland, Texas, and Illinois.
  • Manage facilities projects including new construction or renovations.
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance and repair needs for company-owned sites.
  • Manage improvement/renovation projects for all company-owned sites. This includes estimating, bids, and project execution.
  • Responsible for budgeting, strategic level planning, and space planning across all sites.
  • Responsible for managing both Cianbro Team Members and subcontractors performing construction activities.
  • Interact positively and professionally with customers and Team Members at all levels of the organization.
  • Possess a "Whatever it Takes" mentality while maintaining Cianbro's highest standards of Safety, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree + 5 years; or 10+ years' experience in a facilities or properties management role or a building construction project management role.
  • Experience with confidential/sensitive material preferred.
  • Knowledge of building codes and real estate practices and law preferred.
  • Experience with LEAN/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement preferred.
  • Occasional travel required.
