Bio Patent Associate - Silicon Valley
Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a patent associate with 2-3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience to join the firm's pre-eminent, national Intellectual Property Department's Chemical, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Practice Group in our Silicon Valley office. Qualified candidate must hold an MS or PhD in the biological sciences (i.e. Immunology, Molecular Biology, Virology, or a related field) and have solid patent prosecution experience. Ideal candidate will have immediately transferable skills, with a strong academic background, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Admission before the USPTO is required. To be considered, an associate candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the California Bar.
